ROCKVILLE, Ind. – Wednesday, town leaders broke ground on the Howard/Market Street Project in Rockville.
The area connects US 36 and US 41.
The nearly $5 million project has been in the works for about six years.
The state of Indiana will pay 80% of the cost with town of Rockville paying the remaining 20% or a little less than $1 million.
.There will be all new road surface, bicycle paths, new sidewalks and storm water drainage.
Construction will take a break for the Covered Bridge Festival and then resume next spring and be completed by the fall of 2019.
