CLINTON, Ind.   – Police have arrested a man who has been wanted for more than 18 years on charges of desertion and abandonment form the military.

When Clinton Police were interviewing Robert Eugene Bowman on a battery case they discovered that he had given a false last name.

His real last name is Brodbeck.

He has been using an alias for at least the past 17 years.

He also is wanted on two active warrants out of Texas.

Brodbeck is now waiting for extradition from the U.S. Marshall’s Office and is being held in the Vermillion County Jail.
