Man Recovered From Private Sullivan County Pond

DUGGER, Ind – Indiana Conservation Officers responded to a call about an unresponsive man found in a private Sullivan County Pond.

Around 5:30 Thursday afternoon, 69 year old Michael Reynolds, of Dugger, was recovered from the water and later pronounced dead at the scene.

Witnesses saw Reynolds floating face down in the water and performed CPR until first responder’s arrived.

Officers were told that Reynolds had gone to the dock at the pond to feed the fish, and they started to search for him when he did not return.

Reynolds reportedly did have an extensive medical history.

Indiana Conservation Officers are currently investigating the incident, and an autopsy is being completed Friday (6/7/18).
