VIGO COUNTY, Ind. – A Terre Haute man arrested back in July on charges of criminal confinement, kidnapping, and strangulation made his initial court appearance Thursday.
Police say that back on July 23rd 30 year old Dominic Pope held a woman against her will, battered her, and threatened her with a machete.
Pope is being held in the Vigo County Jail on $50,000 bond and will return to court on October 1st.
