TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Recently the YMCA Terre Haute announced that they would be closing their pool.

Officials told us that operating the pool was very expensive and that the money saved would be used to provide for other programs.

Mayor Duke Bennett is reportedly working on a plan to keep the pool open.

No decisions have been made and no details have been released but the mayor says that progress is being made.
