Modesitt Says No Charges To Be Filed Against Officers

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – At a press conference Tuesday Vigo County Prosecutor Terry Modesitt said that no charges would be filled against two Terre Haute Police Officers involved in the shootout that killed Officer Rob Pitts.

Officers JT Pearce and Brian Bordeau each fired two shots at Christopher Wolfe and they have been cleared of any wrongdoing and that they use of deadly force was in self defense.

Officials say Wolfe fired at least four shots, one of which killed Officer Pitts.

Wolfe then killed himself.

Wolfe was wanted for the murder of Robert Olson.
