VIGO COUNTY, Ind.  – Several area fire departments responded to a house fire around 8:00 a.m. Monday morning on Deer Run Drive.

Smoke was showing when crews arrived.

The home was reportedly rented to a group of Rose-Hulman students.

Working smoke detectors helped to make sure everyone got out unharmed but most all personal items were lost.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
