SULLIVAN COUNTY, Ind. – More details are becoming known about a Sullivan County man accused of abusing his three month old daughter.

Last week police arrested 46 year old Eric Tharp of Farmersburg at a relative’s home in Parke County.

Doctors say that the baby had several breaks to her ribs, arms, and legs likely caused by excessive force.

Allegedly Tharp became angry and squeezed the child causing the injuries.

The infant and two siblings are now being cared for by family members.
