CLARK COUNTY, Ill. – More details have been released about a fatal accident Friday morning in Clark County.

It happened just after 6:00 a.m. on Clarksville Road near North Cleone Road.

The Illinois State Police reports that 32-year-old Wade Schaefer, of Charleston, Illinois was driving east on Clarksville Road when for some unknown reason her vehicle crossed the center line and crashed head-on into a truck driven by 37-year-old Matthew Locker.

Schaefer was killed in the crash.

Police are continuing their investigation.
