The DCS Family Case Manager reported that a two-month old child was brought into the Emergency room with several broken bones.

Officers spoke with the mother of the infant. 21 year old Elexis J. King of Clinton blamed another toddler child for the injuries.

The infant was transferred to Riley’s Hospital of Indianapolis for further specialized tests and treatment. The staff advised that the two-month old had four broken bones:

  2. Distal right radius and ulna fractures
  3. Right distal femur fracture

King was arrested and is being held in the Vermillion County Jail on $50,000 bond.
