WEST TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – A motorcycle rider was taken to a local hospital after a Saturday morning accident.

It happened in West Terre Haute around 4:00 a.m. Saturday morning.

The rider was reportedly west bound on Sarah Meyers Drive when he hit a dog and crashed.

The man suffered from a broken leg and reportedly laid on the ground for nearly 30 minutes before help arrived.

The name of the victim has not been released.
