UNDATED – Law enforcement across the country are participating the National Night Out event today.
Locally several events are planned:
Parke County events will be at the 4H Fairgrounds north of Rockville starting at 5p.m.
Clay County will be hosting its event at 5 p.m. at Forest Park in Brazil.
Vermillion County’s will be at Sportland Park in Clinton at 6 p.m.
Greene county will hold its event at 4:30 p.m. over in Linton Park.
Fun, food, games and other attractions are planned at all events.
Events in Sullivan County will be held this Friday starting at 5 in the Sullivan City Park. This year’s event will be in memory of fallen Terre Haute PD Officer Rob Pitts and Hymera Fire Chief Clay Shidler. A special dedication will take place at 4:45 prior to the event.
In Vigo County, their events will happen September 18th at Fairbanks Park.
