New Law Requires Coaches To Be Trained To Spot Over-Heating

dscf4287

INDIANA – A new state law will take effect July 1st that will require new training and certification for interscholastic and intramural coaches.

The law concerns heat preparedness.

The heat preparedness course is already offered by the Indiana High School Athletics Association and many coaches have already completed the training.

This law makes that training a requirement.

The coaches will be required to complete the certification every two years.
