VIGO COUNTY, Ind – A new date has been set for a pretrial hearing in the bribery case against former Vigo County schools Superintendent Danny Tanoos.
That hearing was supposed to be this week but will now be held December 18th.
Tanoos faces bribery charges in Marion County court for allegedly taking and soliciting favors from a vendor that was awarded millions of dollars in contracts to perform work for the school system.
Tanoos and his attorneys have made a mid-case appeal claiming that the charges are unfounded.
Tanoos has maintained his innocence.
