SULLIVAN COUNTY, Ind. – North East School Corporation in Sullivan County is planning some big changes.
The biggest change would see the closing of the middle school and moving 6th graders to one of the two elementary schools and 7th and 8th graders gong to North Central High School.
The Superintendent and other central office administrative staff would be moved into the current middle school.
Plans call for all current employees to keep their jobs.
In other plans a new graduation pathway eliminates I-step and construction projects to beef up security.
