Not Many Are Attending Public School Meetings

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – The first three in a series of community meetings regarding Vigo County Schools were held this week at Davis Park, Deming and Dixie Bee elementary schools but few people showed up to voice concerns or ask questions.

Meetings are being offered at every building in the corporation.

The next meetings will be next Tuesday at DeVaney and Farrington Grove Elementary schools.

School leaders say they want everyone to feel like they can talk about important issues. At each meeting a moderator and note-takers attend and they are from other schools in the district.
