PARKE COUNTY, Ind.  – One person was critically hurt when a horse and buggy was hit from behind Saturday night.

The accident happened on State Road 59 near State Road 236.

One person from the buggy was airlifted to a hospital.

Police are investigating the accident.

Alcohol may have been involved.
