VERMILLION COUNTY, Ind – One person was hurt in a single car crash just before 7:00 p.m. Sunday on Hazel Bluff Road near CR 200 E in Clinton.

Deputies say that found 55-year-old Danny W. Miley was outside the vehicle when they arrived.

He had been ejected and was injured.

The vehicle was also on fire but was quickly put out by fire crews.

Deputies day that Miley had left the roadway and struck a wooden post and then struck a tree at 2089 E. Hazel Bluff Rd.

Miley was transported to Union Hospital in Clinton and then Lifelined to Regional Hospital in Terre Haute where he received medical treatment.

Miley was reported in stable condition around 9:30 Sunday night.

Police say that alcohol is believed to be a factor.

Their investigation is continuing.
