One Person In Critical Condition After SUV And Tractor Collide In Sullivan County

SULLIVAN COUNTY. Ind – Friday afternoon around 1:00 PM, Sullivan County Sheriff’s 911 dispatch received a report that a SUV had crashed into the back of a farm tractor.

It happened on SR54 near Johnson St. in Dugger.

Police say that a Hummer SUV rolled onto its left side, blocking both lanes of SR54.

Wacey Robertson of Sandborn, was the driver of the Hummer while the farm tractor, which had also been eastbound, was operated by Dale Cullison of Dugger.

Police say that Robertson had been distracted and did not slow down as his SUV closed in on the slower moving farm tractor and that is what caused the accident.

Cullison was taken to Terre Haute Regional Hospital by ambulance in serious condition.

Wacey Robertson declined medical attention.
