TERRE HAUTE, Ind.  – Terre Haute Police are investigating a Friday night shooting.

The male victim told police that just before 9:00 two people tried to rob him in the Burger King  parking lot on Wabash Avenue.

During the attempted robbery the victim was shot in the leg and is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

The victim told police the suspects were a male and female who were wearing masks.
