TERRE HAUTE, Ind – A local paramedic is facing 8 felony charges for allegedly obtaining prescription drugs illegally.
It is claimed that 25-year-old Cole Worley had several prescriptions of Adderall filled for his sister at different pharmacies around town.
He is charged with obtaining a controlled substance by fraud or deceit and illegally possessing a controlled substance.
Police say Worley’s husband is a doctor at Regional Hospital and that he took prescription pad and forged his signature.
He also allegedly used a private stamp to fill out prescriptions for himself.
Worley has been released from jail out on bond.
