MARSHALL, Ill.  – A peaceful end to a standoff with police in Marshall, Illinois Thursday night.

Marshall Police tried to serve a warrant on 33-year-old Charles Tyler Livvix yesterday on South 14th street.

The warrant was issued because he failed to show up for a court hearing.

Livvix barricaded himself in the garage and refused to come out for several hours.

Eventually he surrendered and no one was hurt.
