VIGO COUNTY, Ind – Authorities have released the identity of the person killed in a weekend crash on I-70.

The Vigo County Sheriff and Coroner’s Office has identified the person killed as 32-year-old Ashley Williams of Marshall, Illinois.

Williams died when her vehicle slammed into the rear of a semi-truck that was slowing for traffic.

That traffic was slowing due to another accident that happened earlier in the day further down the road in Illinois.
