DELPHI, Ind.–You’re being asked to stop posting side by side comparisons of people and the suspect sketch in the Delphi murder investigation. The Carroll County sheriff says those comparisons are actually doing harm, especially to the people they are comparing the suspect to.

Sheriff Tobe Leazenby said on Facebook that you could end up hurting someone’s reputation, and that could put you in a legal bind, and make you liable for slander.

You are ruining innocent peoples lives. Before posting a side by side, imagine that is your son, brother, or father.
