VIGO COUNTY, Ind.  – Thieves have taken thousands of dollars of tools and other items from a local construction site.

The Vigo County Sheriff’s Department says that sometime late Thursday evening or early Friday morning various construction equipment and tools, estimated to be worth thousands of dollars were stolen from the Menards construction site on U.S. 41 and Jessica Drive in southern Vigo County.

Some of the tools and equipment stolen included a walk behind saw and trowel machine.
