TERRE HAUTE, Ind.  – A plea deal is in the works for a woman suspected of helping her brother evade arrest

Teresa Pitts was charged with assisting a criminal in connection to the murder of Alica “Anita” Oswald.

Teresa’s brother, Kenneth Pitts was charged with Oswald’s murder and police say that she helped him avoid capture.

Pitts will return to court on March 25th for a change of plea hearing.

Details on the agreement have not yet been made public.
