ROCKVILLE, Ind – A Rockville man charged with reckless homicide, aggravated battery and criminal recklessness has been found not guilty by a Parke County Jury.

The trial began Tuesday, and was handed to the jury Wednesday morning.

40 year old Dana M. Harris was arrested June 15, 2018, after police were called to a house on Indiana Street in Rockville.

Officers tried to revive Shane Skelton lying on the ground with a stab wound.

Skelton’s estranged wife said Skelton had been in a brief fight with Harris inside the house.

Harris told police he had used a knife to defend himself against Skelton.
