PARKE COUNTY, Ind – A Rockville man was airlifted to an Indianapolis hospital Monday night in critical condition after a crash in Parke County.

Police say that the accident happened when James Bacon lost control of his car and it went off of U.S. 36 near S.R. 59 and crashed into some trailers and boats just west of Raccoon State Recreation Area at Reeder Trausch Marine.

Bacon was the only person involved and remained at Methodist hospital in Indianapolis Tuesday afternoon in critical condition.
