ROCKVILLE, Ind – Officials in Rockville say that the town needs major sewer line repairs. That can be an expensive proposition.

To help cover the cost of these needed repairs, the Town of Rockville is applying for a $700,000 grant from the Indiana Office of Community & Rural Affairs, known as OCRA.

City leaders are asking for help from residents in securing the grant money. If residents have had sewer issues related to broken sewers or if drains are slow or backing up during big rain storms they want to hear from you at a public hearing at 6:30 p.m. on November 13th at the Town Hall.

Officials will also be asking for you to fill out a survey and post card.

Here is the press release with complete details on what officials will do and how you can help:   News-Release-Sewer-10-29
