PARKE COUNTY, Ind –  On February 4th Nikki and Andrew Dawson of rural Rockville reported that their 2007 Suburban SUV had been stolen.

Police say that the vehicle was eventually found in a farm pond off CR 450 N. on March 15th by a farmer.

Police now say that the Dawson’s lied about the crime.

They have been charged with Insurance Fraud and turned themselves into police over the weekend and have been released on bond.
