TERRE HAUTE IN –With the holiday season approaching, The Salvation Army will be signing up low-income families needing both food and gift assistance. Available gift programs include: Toys for Tots, Shop with a Cop, Adopt-A-Family, Bikes for Tykes, and Catholic Charities’ Christmas Store.

The dates and times for sign-ups are:

October 15-18 10:00 am – 12:00 pm, 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm

October 22-25 10:00 am – 12:00 pm, 1:00pm – 3:00pm

October 17 and 24, additional time slot 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm

Those seeking assistance will need to provide: picture IDs for all adults, birth date verification for all children, social security cards for everyone in the household, proof of income or benefits in the last thirty days, and proof of address within Vigo County.
