TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – A sentencing hearing was held Tuesday for a Vigo County woman involved in a deadly child neglect case.
Tiffany Daugherty pleaded guilty to reckless homicide and neglect of a dependent as part of a plea deal.
The agreement calls for her to be sentenced to a total of 21-years.
What hasn’t been decided is how that time will be spent.
She will likely serve some time in prison and the rest on work release and probation.
The judge will pass sentence on September 21st.
Daugherty’s young daughter Adilynn Moseman died of starvation and pneumonia in January of 2016.
Her boyfriend and father of her other four children, Brian Moseman, also has been criminally charged in the death of the little girl.
He has a jury trial scheduled for Sept. 10.
