Several Cases Of Hepatitis A In The Valley

WABASH VALLEY – A  Hepatitis A outbreak continues in the Wabash Valley.

There are now 14 confirmed cases of the highly contagious virus in Edgar County, Illinois.

The Indiana State Health Department says Vigo County is now up to 10 confirmed cases of Hepatitis A.

Owen County is up to 5 cases.

There are no other confirmed cases in other surrounding counties.

Those at higher risk for Hepatitis A are gay men, those who use IV drugs, and those in prison.
