UPDATE: Missing Child And Mother Found Safe

A Statewide Silver Alert has been declared.

The Vermillion County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the disappearance of a child from Clinton, Indiana.

VERMILLION COUNTY, Ind – Thursday evening around 9pm, the Vermillion Co Sheriff’s Office received a call about a missing mother and her autistic son.

The two had not been seen since Wednesday evening around  6pm.

Family members tell police that every school morning at 7 am they assist getting 6-year-old Bryier Fauquher (pronounced Fockner) ready for school and onto the bus.

On Thursday morning the mother 32-year-old Amy Jo Jones and Bryier were not in their home and the child’s school backpack was still at the home.

Police say that Jones does not have a vehicle and has been known to leave the area to stay with friends in Evansville and Montezuma.

They have not been located with known friends and her cell phone is not reachable.

The boy is described as 3 feet 6 inches tall, weighing 67 pounds, with blond hair, and blue eyes.
