Sportland Park Fund Established

(Clinton, IN) – Vermillion County Community Foundation is pleased to announce the establishment of the Sportland Park Fund.

According to Dale White, Chief Executive Officer of the Vermillion County Community Foundation, “The Sportland Park Fund is being established in collaboration with area citizens and the City of Clinton.  The purpose of the fund is to ‘Spruce-Up’ Sportland Park, Clinton’s largest and most utilized park.”

The large scale project includes the renovation of the public restroom facilities, a full remodel of the Duke Energy Wildcat stage area, new turf (drought resistant natural grass) for the 2.5 acres of playing area, 4-season landscaping areas to add visual appeal throughout the park, and improvements in parking, accessibility and safety.
