PARIS, Ill. – A Catholic School that has been in operation in the Wabash Valley since 1898 will close its doors at the end of the school year on May 23rd.
Saint Mary’s School in Paris, Illinois says the reason for closing is due ot declining enrollment.
Enrollement currently stands at 60 students in grades pre-school through 5th grade.
Saint Mary’s is located within the Paris Union School District-95.
The current school building has been in use since 1959.
