Stolen Credit Card Information Found During Tractor-Trailer Stop

PUTNAM COUNTY, Ind — Monday afternoon, (4/30/18) just before 1 p.m. Indiana State Police stopped a semi-truck for an equipment violation eastbound Interstate 70 near the 41 mile marker.

During the stop, police became suspicious and that led to a search of the tractor. The search yielded 27 white plastic cards, each containing stolen credit card information.

The driver, 32-year-old Vage Gabriyelyan of Glendale, California, was arrested on felony charges of Counterfeiting and Fraud.

The tractor-trailer was transporting medical supplies from California to New Jersey.
