Parke County- Tuesday morning members of the Indiana State Police Scuba Team located a stolen ISP firearm.

Just after 11:05 a.m., ISP Scuba members recovered the gun that was taken from a Troopers’ vehicle on November 5th.

During the investigation, ISP received several tips of possible locations of the firearm. ISP Scuba members searched Big Raccoon Creek near Rosedale for nearly 3 hours.

The search ended when ISP Sergeant Chris Lambert located the stolen firearm, which was taken to the Indiana State Police Putnamville Post to be held as evidence.

19-year-old Logan Blubaugh had earlier admitted to stealing the gun from the state trooper’s vehicle that was parked in the Rio subdivision in northern Vigo County.

Blubaugh has been charged with theft, obstruction of justice, and unlawful entry of a motor vehicle.
