VIGO COUNTY, Ind. – The Vigo County School Corporation is investigating an allegation that a substitute teacher struck a child.

News 10 reports that a parent claims that a substitute teacher hit her son on the back of the head at DeVaney Elementary School.

School corporation officials say they have notified the proper authorities and are conducting an internal investigation underway.
