WEST TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – The Sugar Creek Fire Department is now accepting applications for volunteer firefighters.

Anyone with a valid driver’s license and a high school diploma or GED can apply.

High school students between the ages of 16 and 18 and also apply with character references from the school corporation.

All the training is free.
