SULLIVAN COUNTY, Ind. – The Sullivan County Sheriff’s Department reports another phone scam making the rounds in that county.

Officers say that scammers have been calling family members of recently jailed people or those that have recently been released.

The scammers say that they are an officer and need more bond money to keep the person from re-arrested.

If there is a problem, it is not handled that way.
