SULLIVAN, Ind. – Police in Sullivan County were called to the Sullivan High School football field Thursday evening on a ‘third party rumor’ about someone having a gun at the game.

Deputies found the man that was accused of having the gun, but he did not have a weapon or one in his vehicle. Police say that he was very cooperative.

Officers are still working to find out the reason behind the allegations.
