INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.  – Former Vigo County School Corporation Superintendent Danny Tanoos was in an Indianapolis court on Wednesday.

Late Tuesday the judge denied a motion to dismiss the three charges of bribery against Tanoos.

Police say Tanoos accepted bribes from an Indianapolis business and then recommended that business to the school board.

In court Wednesday Tanoos’ attorney said they plan to appeal that decision.

He was granted permission to travel between states as long as he informs his attorneys but he will not have to formally notify the court.

Tanoos is due back in court on April 24th.
