TERRE HAUTE, Ind – An Indianapolis man is facing charges after allegedly breaking into a Terre Haute apartment.
19-year-old Dawit Nega was arrested Tuesday after police found him pined to the ground near Seventh and Lafayette Ave.
The man who had Nega pinned said that the man was one of two people who had kicked open his apartment door in the 1000 block of North Eighth Street
The man said he chased the suspects and caught Nega, tackling him and then holding him until police arrived.
The second suspect was not located by police.
Nega appeared in court Wednesday and will be back in court on February 19th.
