Terre Haute And Other Cities Across The State Receive HUD Grants

INDIANAPOLIS  — The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development has awarded 14 grants totaling more than $1.2 million to local public housing authorities in Indiana to help client families achieve self-sufficiency.

Housing authorities in Terre Haute, Evansville, Fort Wayne,  and New Albany each are getting more than $100,000.

The Indianapolis Housing Agency is receiving $243,000.

Other grants are going to Kokomo, Hammond, Bloomington, Vincennes, Marion, Elkhart, South Bend, Columbus and Gary.
