VIGO COUNTY, Ind  –  A national chain restaurant on Terre Haute’s south side has closed.

A sign on the door says that Chili’s on US 41 South in front of Walmart and Kohl’s is permanently closed.

Chilli’s opened here in December 2011.

Chili’s representatives have been quoted as saying that  the closure is due to poor performance.
