TERRE HAUTE, Ind.  – A Terre Haute man is facing charges after allegedly stabbing another man at the Terre Haute Motel 6.

Police say that 31 year old Michael Byrer told the victim that he was going to kill him and then stabbed him.

The victim suffered three stab wounds.

It’s not clear what led to the incident.

Police said the victim was taken to and area hospital and is recovering.

Byrer will return to court Friday.
