TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – A Terre Haute man has been arrested on several charges including rape, criminal confinement and domestic battery.

The victim alleges that her boyfriend, 34 year old Brenton Barnhill beat and raped her after she confronted him about lying to her.

The alleged victim claims he also choked her to the point where she could not breathe.

Barnhill is being held on $75,000 total bond with no 10% and is due back in court next Monday (4/9/18).
