PARKE COUNTY, Ind – Sunday night (5/18/19) around 9:40pm, Parke County Deputies, were called to a motorcycle crash near Catlin Rd & 275S.

Police say that 24-year-old Austin Byrd of Terre Haute, was found pinned under his motorcycle unconscious but breathing.

He regained consciousness but did not complain of any injuries.

Byrd was taken to Union Hospital in Terre Haute.

Officers say that he was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.

Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the accident and the investigation is continuing.
