Terre Haute Woman Asks For Home Detention

TERRE HAUTE, Ind.  – A Terre Haute woman accused of lying to police during their investigation of the killing of a police officer wants to be sentenced to home detention.

A lawyer for Lakrista Julian made that request in court Monday morning.

Christopher Wolfe shot and killed another man and police followed him and Julian back to her Garden Quarter apartment.

That is where Wolfe shot and killed Officer Rob Pitts.

Police returned fire on Wolfe who later died in the apartment.

Julian came out of the apartment and was arrested on a charge of obstruction of justice.

Police say that she was not truthful when answering questions by police

The judge took Julian’s request under advisement.

She remains in the Vigo County Jail and is being held on $25,000 bond.
